Aimee Grant has had a successful judo session so far. This season she was selected to attend the following tournaments, The English Open, The Venray International, The Sportif International, The Portugal European Cup, The UK school games and was also the only girl selected from Scotland to represent Great Britain at The European Cadet Championships in Greece. Her Results were 3rd place in Venray, 1st Place in Sportif, 7th place in Portugal, and two 2nd places at The UK school games. The European Cup was a huge step up and Aimee has come away from the tournament more determined than ever to improve in strength and technique. She has also attended training camps in Edinburgh, Amsterdam, Belgium, Largs and Tulliallan and continues to travel weekly to Judo Scotland’s Headquarters in Ratho, Edinburgh for coaching sessions. She is currently ranked No.1 at her weight category in the cadets and still continues to train at the National Centre of Excellence at Warsaw, Birmingham.
