SALSC National Final – Braehead – Saturday 28th March
Two teams from Highland & Moray Junior Curling Club, all of whom are members of the Highland Regional Performance Squad represented the North area at the Scottish Association of Local Sports Council National Finals on Saturday 28th March in Glasgow. The U13 team – John Fraser (skip), Scott Fraser, Katrina MacArthur and Ellie Fraser not only won the overall competition against the South, East and West of Scotland but also won the Hot Shot Challenge, which is a seperate competition to test the basic skills of the game.
H&M Junior Curling Club are extremely grateful for the funding received from Ross-shire and Inverness Sports Councils to support the junior curlers with travel, accommodation and entry fees for both of these competitions.
